Subject: Final Warning letter for Misconduct
On ————- (date) members of management had discussed with you regarding your inappropriate act of adjustment of stocks for manipulation of stock reports. During the stock audits it was found that the excess / deficit stock was adjusted by various means.
As per the evidences the stock of products were physically moved out of the store, prior to stock audit for adjustment of stock reports. As per your confession you had proposed for the movement of stock from one store to the other in order to cover the negative variance in stock and were completely aware of such movement of stock. This itself is an attempt to create fraud.
As per Clause no. ——- of appointment letter an employee is liable to be terminated / dismissed by the Company without prior notice if he / she shall at any time commit an act of misconduct .
The act of adjustment of stocks by various means for manipulation of stock reports is clearly an act of misconduct and also the same is against the company policy.
In the presence of sufficient evidences and your subsequent confession with written apology the management has reconsidered the decision of your termination and has extended to you an opportunity to improve.
Henceforth you are transferred from the role of Area Manager. Your new job role will be of an Asst. Manager – Strategy reporting to Manager-Operations.
Please be advised that the Company has an open door policy for addressal of employee concerns and issues but an act of misconduct is highly condemned.
Therefore please take this letter as a final written warning towards the act that was conducted for manipulation of stock reports.
In future if found guilty, the management will hold all the rights to terminate your employment without any verbal or written warning.
