Sir,
Please refer to your bill No _________ dated ___________[date].
It has seen from the above mentioned bill that the current unit consumption is shown as ___________ (_______ to ________[Duration ex. 01/05/2018 to 30/05/2018]) whereas the same was _____(no) ____units in the previous bill.
Thus the difference in unit consumption works out to _________ units which are on higher side.
It is further submitted that the AC installed at home or in Office No. _______ has been non functional for the last one year. In spite of this, the unit consumption should have less whereas it has been on higher side and needs reconciliation.
As such, it is presumed that the meter installed is having functional problem and may be the cause of excess reading which require immediate rectification and installation of Fresh Meter.
In view of the above, it is requested to depute your technical expert to carry out thorough check of meter immediately to avoid further accumulation of unit consumption.
However, we are depositing the amount of bill under protest.
Please treat it as MOST URGENT.
