Subject: – Clarification regarding deduction of Provident Fund & Payment of salary for weekly off-reg.
Dear Sir,
Kindly refer to our letter dated: 01/02/2016, 06/03/2016 and 04/04/2016 regarding release of our withhold amount on the plea that there are some short comings in compliance with the various provisions of EPF and MP Act, 1952 in respect of our employees engaged in your DMRC Metro Stations.
In this connection, it is brought to your kind notice that we have been regularly complying with the various provisions of EPF and MP Act, 1952 and depositing the statuary PF/ESI dues regularly. The officer of the department has also inspected our books of accounts up to 31.10.2015 and a petty demand of Rs. ……./- was raised by the department after thorough inspection of all our records viz salary, attendance, books of accounts etc. The demand so raised for Rs. ………./- also stands deposited. A copy of inspection report dated ________ and receipted bank challan for Rs. of ………./- are enclosed for your kind perusal.
In view of the above and considering our regular compliance with the various provisions of PF/ESI laws, you are requested to kindly release our entire outstanding amount at the earliest.
