Subject :-Deposit of P.F. Dues.
Dear Sir,
It is brought to your kind notice that P.F. dues should get remitted in time i.e. on or before 15th of the following month to which it relates. Please note that late payment or non deposits of the said dues are not only subject to levy of damages to the extent of arrears but it also attracts legal action by way of prosecution which is a cognisable offence. Now-a-days, the Government is taking such default very seriously and prosecuting the defaulting establishments.
The Income Tax Authorities also disallow such expenses if the PF dues are deposited after 15th of the following month to which it relates.
As such you are requested to kindly look into the case and instruct your officials concerned to hand over the cheque towards PF dues by 10-12 of each month so that we can get the same deposited well before deadline. In case, you are getting it deposited on your own, please ensure that the cheque gets deposited before 15th of each month. We, as consultants will not be held responsible for late deposit of PF dues.
Kindly treat it as MOST URGENT.
