Subject: Show cause notice for Negligence in Attitude
It has been reported against you that your behaviour and attitude towards your job is not appropriate as most of the time you take leaves /half days on extremely short notices, report late on duty & go early than the shift timings .This behaviour amounts to negligence in attitude towards the policies of the Organisation and subsequently the same affects the work culture of the Organisation.
For the above stated incident, General Manager – Planning – your Reporting Manager, tried to verbally counsel you many times towards improvement of your attitude related to reporting on duty in time and following of assigned work schedules. The counselling sessions given were not taken by you as a feedback to improve and your attitude towards your job did not change.
The above stated incidents & acts of taking leaves on short notices along with reporting late in shifts and going early is considered as negligence towards Organization policies and the same is also unproductive .
You are thereby summoned to submit your written explanation and justify as to why disciplinary action should not be taken against you.
Your explanation should reach the undersigned within 48 hours of receipt of this letter.
